What is a Double Eyelid Surgery?

Double eyelid surgery is indicated for the patient who has no double eyelid at all or one side only. Patients with bulging and swollen eyelid or with thick fatty layer can get rid of fat simultaneously. Patients with ptosis or hooding of eyelid can take excision of eyelid wrinkle and make double eyelid. However, appropriate procedure should be dependent on the individual characteristic. Double Eyelid Surgery recovery
Postoperative pain can be managed by the analgesics. For 2 to 3 days after the surgery, head elevation and ice massage are recommended to reduce the swelling. Stitches can be removed in 3rd to 4th day after the surgery and make-up can be applied the following day
Patients may return to normal life in one week, but the fold will stabilize within 2 to 3 months. It may look unnatural immediately after surgery due to swelling, however the appearance will improve over time.
